This data is collected to support the maintenance and management of WDC's wastewater network. This layer includes fields that classify, e.g., material, volume, filter type etc.</SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>A Private Facility, in general terms, represents a group of asset types that are privately owned but may be connected to Council Networks and of interest to the Council. These may include private assets that the Council undertakes limited maintenance or monitoring on.</SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>Private Facility asset types include private septic tank and private pressure pump station.</SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>Private Septic Tank: a privately owned underground vessel with an accessible lid in which sewage is collected from the private property and allowed to decompose through bacterial activity before being de-sludged by a contractor and the liquid effluent is disposed of in a privately owned disposal field or a Council network supply main.
